Yom Kippur/ Day Of Atonement!

Hi All,

I love celebrating this Feast Day! In the book of Leviticus (23:4) we learn about this Feast and if you haven’t heard/read about it please take the time out and do so! Another book in the Bible (I read the King James Version) that speaks of the blessings that are released during this time is the book of Joel (Chapter 2).

The Day of Atonement is a day of fasting and prayer! I like to say we should all live in a constant state of repentance. I say this short and simple prayer when I think about it throughout the day. “Father, I repent of all my sins known and unknown. If I have said, done or even thought anything to cause me to sin or sin against you or cause distance between us… I ask that you forgive me of my sins, wash me clean in your precious and powerful blood and allow me to draw back closer to you.”
