More Books!

My Happy Place!

So… I can officially erase three books 📚 off of my never ending WTR (want to read) book list! I went to Barnes & Noble Thursday before my Mani/Pedi appointment and picked up two books! (By the Book: Jasmine Guillory and Good Girl Complex: Elle Kennedy). As, both books kept coming up on my Goodreads and Amazon book recommendations. Once I saw they were available at the store for pickup…away I went!

I’ve read several books by Jasmine Guillory, my first one was “The Wedding Date” and I truly enjoyed it! I’m pretty sure I will like “By The Book” as well. It’s a modern day retelling of Beauty and the Beast from what majority of the reviews said. “Good Girl Complex” had a lot of good reviews too! But most of Elle Kennedys’ readers were raving about “The Deal”. I haven’t read that one yet though. It’s somewhere on my list. It’s part of a series, so, when I read series I like to read them together.

I also ordered “Stupid Prizes” by Alice Duke. It actually arrived in the mail today! I read a review that came up on my Instagram explore page last week. Then preceded to read the back cover blurb and I was like… 🫣😵‍💫🤦🏽‍♀️I know you lying (N⚜️LA girl voice) LOL… It’s not the normal story plot; However, It screams craziness LOL. I’m curious to see what happens. I believe this is the author’s first book too, so I’m super excited to see her writing style.

My favorite genre of books is Romance if you can’t tell LOL. I love Rom-Com and contemporary Romance too! I live for an amazing HEA (Happily Ever After)! Also, how cute is my bookmark?!? 🤩#HopelessRomantic 💕 #HappyReading 📔
