Mid-week madness 😩😂! #WineWednesday #StoryTime

So, here it goes… my singing in semi-public story. Well, a few years back my aunt’s (My dad’s oldest sister.) husband died. We used to call him “Daddy George”! We (Rayme, me and our older cousins used to have this lil song we would sing for him and he would crack up laughing. He was super chill.) Well anyway, my aunt called me and I’m like “Hey Teedy” and she said “Hey Leann, my baby”! (My dad side rarely calls me by my first name… they always call me by my middle name.)

Long story short, she was calling to ask me to sing at his funeral. I was like… now how can I say no to Teedy??😩🤦🏽‍♀️… I couldn’t lol she was super sweet she passed away in 2014… So, I was like Lord give me the strength 😩… I got up there and saw all the people 😳and I was like umm I can’t do this 🫣… (hence why my Dad calls me the WB frog 😂) my cousin was like come on Leann… I sung and was so glad when it was over…

I used to sing all the time when I was younger for my family… Rayme (Her birthday was yesterday BTW 38!!!!🎉🥳) and I would write plays and have our little cousins act out the parts 😂… especially our little cousin Brittany (Bebe).

Rayme recently asked me, do I remember the songs I wrote when we were younger?? And how we would sing them?? I was like yes OMG that was so long ago! 😂… It was never a dull moment when we were growing up lol! I remember one time we were in the car coming home from dinner I was singing “Resentment”and our friend started crying when I was finished and said “That girl Magan know she can sing”…I told her “No sis… you feeling them lyrics don’t blame it on me” We all got a laugh that night. The guy she was dating at the time had her going through it 😩🤦🏽‍♀️… I still have my “shower concerts” just as much as anyone else I guess but nothing public 😂…talents just hiding out 😅😩😂okay, I’m done! It’s Wine and Hallmark time! 😂
